Frozen Tundra and a dead rabbit

This last couple weeks has been exciting in what Maynor calls, "The frozen Tundra." We've gone sledding, sledding (snowmobiling), snowboarding, and I've taken up cross-country skiing. We even enjoyed a night or two of -30 degree weather. W00t! Anyway, to celebrate our black heritage this last Monday we got Whit and Maynor to go with us sledding up at the school. Eventually sledding safely got boring, and Jeff decided to have Maynor try to jump over him. It was pretty amazing, Maynor cleared Jeff by like twenty feet and used his face to stop himself. Both survived. Apparently that wasn't exciting enough so Maynor went sledding down the steepest hill and then off a small cliff of rocks. We all followed and survived!
So about a year and a half ago, I was at Dairy Queen with some friends. To make a long story short, after a battle of ice cubes, water, ketchup, and some french fries, Jared Condor ended up getting his eye "jammed" shut by me and spoonful of strawberry jam. He was pretty cool about the whole thing, but he kept threatening to get me back. I lived in fear for a while, especially after catching him with one of my spare keys. But, a year and a half later I assumed he'd dropped it. Until Jeff came inside one morning and informed me that a dead mushed rabbit and the contents of a ketchup bottle found it's way under my windshield wipers and on top my car. Spectacular. Apparently Jesse Something squished the rabbit on the way to SomeGirl's house, so Jared and Adam decided that they should stop and pick up the rabbit and leave it as a gift for someone. Lucky me.
We also went sledding at the St. Anthony sand dunes. They are ridiculously fun and very steep. At the top of the dunes is small walkway that you hang out on so you don't fall off and roll down either side. See all those tiny people? That's what happened to them ;) We would slide down the dunes and then get a ride back to the top. It was fun stuff. We finished the day off with hot chocolate at our house.
Little bit of cool info: Grandpa Davis rode the first snowmobile in Iowa way back when!
And this is me trying to attack Jeff. Obviously doesn't work when he's 100lbs. heavier than me.

I really miss the snow, but not the dead rabbits. Sounds like you guys are having fun. You are going to have to tell me how to do links to other blogs on yours. Haven't figured that one out yet.

The video clip was great. Dad and I watched it twice if not three times. Snow. Something you don't really see in Texas. Glad you guys are having fun with it.
