i'm are gradumacated!

Well, almost. I technically still have an internship to do but hey, close enough. This whole weekend was a blast, Mom and Dad flew in for the pomp and circumstance and half the family got to be together all weekend. Overall I had a blast. It was a fabulous feeling knowing that I took my last test, took my last class (for now), wrote the last few papers and now am on to the fun part. And I think we all enjoyed the festivities of the graduation. The apostle M. Russell Ballard was the key speaker. I love hearing from the leaders in our church, such a steady voice in times of chaos and you know that whatever they say is going to help guide your life into a straighter path. I never went and picked up my name card so I got to write my own... so, I graduated as Anna "La Fanz" Tew. It was pretty funny, the guy wasn't sure how to pronounce my name so my buddy Jake had to whisper it for him. You can watch me get my diploma cover in the video at the bottom. ... it's kind of embarrassing, I showed up wearing the same thing as about 1,000 other kids. I will never understand these stupid hats that we wear, are they symbolic of books on our heads representing all the knowledge we've gained? What is up with the tassle? And of course, in true Texan style I wore my fancy boots.

Congratulations, Anna! That's great that you finally buckled down and got it done!

From the picture of your boots, you didn't wear EXACTLY the same thing as everyone else. :)

Congratulations again.
