I hope y'all had a chance to watch his show the night of the inauguration-it totally brightened my ruined day. I couldn't watch the inauguration, it probably would have made me puke. But, if anyone did, did you hear the prayer that the prejudice old Reverend gave? "When black would not be asked to give back. When brown can stick around. When yellow will be mellow. When the red man can get ahead, man. When white would embrace what is right." Seriously!?!? "When White would embrace what is right!?" Uh, excuse me... what the crap is that all about??? That just pisses me off. No white president getting sworn in could get away with letting some "reverend" say things like that about another race. Why is it OK for him!?
Is anyone else as perturbed about this?? Good heavens. I'm just sick and tired of being hashed on because I'm white.
Side note: Obama is HALF WHITE!

AMEN!!! that is exactly how I feel! I couldn't watch the inauguration either...or any talk shows afterward (oprah drives me nuts) but now I want to watch steve colbert's show from that night!
Hehe! Yeah I thought that entire thing was kinda funny, but I was also a little perturbed by it. The biggest thing that makes me sick is actually the media. They talk about Obama like he is a savior or king or something. It's SOOO messed up because if half the people who voted for Obama knew what he was really all about instead of just hearing what the MEDIA has to say, I don't think they would have voted for him. Basically, it is a shame on the part of the American People for what they have let the media do.
Is anyone aware that Obama signed an executive order friday to lift the ban on ferderal funding for abortion? These funds will now be given to groups that promote abortion as a method of population control! I CAN'T BELIEVE PEOPLE VOTED FOR THIS MAN! (I can't believe Mormons voted for this man)
I LOVE this post and love all the comments too. With a sister trying to adopt kids, there was a HUGE uproar about the lift on the abortion ban. It makes me sick.
