Bakerella Visits Pioneer Woman

I love getting together with my sister Tiffany and sister-in-law Tonia. We just sit around and laugh and talk and talk about everything, their kids, life, what we're going to do this summer, what we did last summer, whatever. Lately our big topic is blogging. We talk about our blogs, we talk about other people's blogs, we talk about what to blog, blog blog blog.

Anyway, we all really like Bakerella's blog and Pioneer Woman's site. We sit around talking about Pioneer Woman and Bakerella like ugly girls looking at the cheerleaders.

"Oh... my... gosh... She just gave away three kitchen aids!" We whine.

"Who does that???" We sneer.

"Seriously!" We roll our eyes.

But you know deep down we're really just hoping to be as cool as them. And we really worship their blogs. Anyway, one of those days they were talking about the two of them and I said,

"You know those two got together and had a cupcake baking party, right?"

You would've thought someone announced WWIII, or that they won the PCH money.

"WHAT??? How did we miss this!? Oh my gosh, google! Google now!"It was shock that we weren't invited, irritation they didn't know til then and awe that these two people really did indeed exist, and they got together. It was like finding out that Santa Claus was real AND friends with the Easter Bunny. And they spent the summer making eggs and small silver bells. You can imagine how the next 45 minutes was spent. I imagine someday VH1 is going to have a show about the 2000's and one of the big topics will be blogging, and they'll go down as internet celebrities. Anyway, I know most of y'all know those two and I'm sure it's old news to their die-hard fans but I thought I'd throw this out there anyway.

Here's Bakerella's side:

Bakerella: Day One

And Pioneer Woman's side:

Pioneer Woman: Last Day

hey hey! i dont get spots because i pull the cap as tight as it will go no matter how much it hurts. haha. then i make sure when i'm putting on the dye that i don't push down on the cap so it smooshes through the holes. idk. i've done it myself for years and it always turns out so much better than the salons ever do.

I was in the Dr's office reading a parenting magazine and I saw Tiffany's name and blog listed as a winner. Wa-hoo! I hope she won some cool stuff. Way to go Tiffany.
Very fun to see someone you know win something like that :-)
