Couponing

Besides having a crazy obsession with solitaire, my sister Tiffany coupons like it's her job. Actually, it kind of is her job, or so she says. Anyway, she can feed her family of 8 on like $400 dollars a month, all because she coupons! It's crazy. Well, anyway, I'm not there yet cause it's kind of confusing, but I was able to figure this little deal out with her help and without coupons! It will require a CVS Pharmacy in your area, if you don't have one just stop reading.

Tonight I got 4 things of pantie liners for $.89 cents, no coupons required. Here's how:

If you have a CVS you will need a CVS card. Make sure you get one. Then, flip through their ads and look for the things that say, "It's like getting it FREE!" This week they have pencils, paper, binders, Kodak DVD's and CVS pantie liners. So, here is how it works. You buy one of those items and they give you back "ECB's" on your receipt. Those are basically gift cards to the store. So for example, I bought 1 photo book for $8 cash. They gave me $8 in ECB's on my receipt. I got the receipt, ripped off the coupon and used it to pay for my other book (So it was free). It printed me ANOTHER $8 coupon. I ripped THAT one off and bought another book. I did this til I bought 6 books. Now, this will require you making several small transactions, but it's well worth your time. Well, tonight I went and bought 1 thing of $.89 pantie liners with cash. Then I took the ECB for $.89 off the receipt and bought another pack.... and then another. I got 4 things of pantie liners for $.89. And then just for kicks and giggles I went to the price scanner and scanned my card and it gave me an in store coupon for $2 towards a CVS brand bag of nuts. So, I bought 2 trial sized ones that were $.99.. but with my coupon it made them free. If you really wanna start couponing you'll need to read my sister's blog.

I have a love/hate relationship with couponing. I love it because of the great deals you can get, but I hate it because it is confusing and a lot of work. I have mostly only done it with groceries at albertsons. Nice finds at CVS pharmacy- if only we had one here in Provo...

Thanks to you and your sister, I am fuming. As Conne just mentioned, no CVS in Utah.

That little witch is ADORABLE!

Thanks for saving me from looking even more stupid for over 24 hours. I know nothing about HTML and I wish you would give me a tutorial on how to set up a nice blogging page. I don't like the picture I have but don't know how to change it into a picture I like (maybe one I took with my camera) and size it right.

Suggestions?

Thanks, friend. Without you, I would not be able to get panty-liners for practically free.
