Wedding of The Year

Last week I enjoyed a fantastic trip to Utah. The weather was beautiful, the company was outright awesome, and the occasion fabulous. My sweet roommate Tanya got married to the love of her life. And I got to be the Maid of Honor. I know I'm married-but matron sounds really old so I prefer to say "maid." We had so much fun getting ready for the wedding, getting slushees and Jamba Juices, doing hair, doing nails, getting our rings cleaned, and talking until late into the night. As the Princess Bride she had one job. To get herself ready. As her maid of honor, I had one job-to help her help herself. It never occurred to me while we were getting ready at her apartment that we should grab the slip. We just happily rode over to the McCune mansion (slightly late), and it wasn't until she was getting dressed for the ceremony that we realized the slip was at her apartment 20 minutes away. And her dress was see through. And then it wasn't until we sent the wedding planner and hot gay florist to the store to buy a new slip that we realized her shoes were missing as well. Thankfully everyone these days has a cell phone and the wedding planner and hot gay florist were able to have the same store send over all the shoes they had in her size. They saved the day. And I hid myself in the corner. Thankfully she still loved me after that, and the rest of the night was absolutely beautiful. Even if I was wearing a little too much blush.

Love Anna

How fun! As a wedding planner myself- here is rule NUMBER ONE to remember: Something will go wrong at every wedding- big or small- something will. So be glad it was a vrey small thing! The slip was needed- but I don't think anyone would have noticed if she was barefoot either, or they would have thought-Why didn't I do that?but soo awesome they sent all the shoes!
