Growing up we had a whole zoo of animals. Budgies, cockatoos, cats, hamsters, gerbils, rats, mice, guinea pigs, iguanas, turtles, frogs, rabbits, and snakes. We'd always had pets. But the one pet I've never had was a dog. .jpg)
Jeff grew up with a dog who was his best friend. They did everything together. Jeff loves dogs. Jeff is also a sucker for a cute face. That's how we got married. 
I am NOT a dog person. I don't like dogs. They stink, and they bark. So imagine my surprise last night when Jeff carried in this little guy. Allegedly, this is how it went down. Jeff met this cute young couple to sell them an old mattress that had been traded in by someone else. They said, "By the way, know anyone who wants a dog?" We've been looking for the perfect dog to give to Ben's kids for Christmas. So Jeff said, "How about you keep the mattress and I'll take the dog?" 
... and now we have a chihuahua. A half blue toy, half terrier chihuahua. That likes to be called Chunky Brown. And who loves to be cuddled.
But not photographed while he sleeps. Wouldn't he be the best, sweetest, cutest addition to Ben and Tonia's family? He's little, he's playful, he's mostly potty trained, and he's so precious. He can't stay here-the squirrels have voted him out. And he's scared of them. And they're not fond of him either. Let's take a vote!

I don't love dogs either, we always had a cat growing up, but Clint had 2 dogs as a little boy and is allergic to cats. So...I'm going to be stuck with two dogs. I don't dislike them, but they're so much work! Plus, I don't want to have to deal with that whole poop thing.
Chunky Brown sounds like something I might find in someone's diaper.

Just for the record, I love Audrey. Ben of all people is trying to talk me into it. Perhaps that's because he isn't home most of the day and you forgot to mention that the dog is not potty trained.

Look at it from Chunky Brown's perspective, if he's afraid of the squirrels, what will he think of Jack, the Catzilla. I remember him knawing on Anna's arm.
I think you should try to keep everyone. Let's have an experiment with world peace at the Tew household. The animals will all learn to love (or at least tolerate) eachother, and chunky brown will just make you a dog person after all! I have a dog and cat now who are very good friends, and in college and the first year of my marriage I had the same cat and a rat who I wouldn't say "loved" eachother but they all got along, and no body was dinner! :) Can't we all just get along Anna??

Matt and I are the same way when it comes to dogs...He loves 'em, I can't really stand them. He would the same thing.
