Lady Bug Baby Shower

Heather and I have known each other since we were little. We went to Indian Princess's together, we rode bikes to the candy house together, we cried together when she moved, had 3 way phone calls with boys, started driving together, went to school and work together, pretty much any significant life event we have done together. With the except of having a baby. Heather is a step ahead. She and Andy are expecting a little girl in the middle of June.  Jeff and I are happy with our squirrels and dog.

Heather had her last baby shower this Saturday, and I think it turned out really good.  Mostly because her Mom and Aunt Jan were in charge of pretty much everything.  There were lots of fun friends and family, and the chicken salad I made turned out edible.  I was pretty excited about that.
Chicken salad is a must for any kind of shower, but baby showers especially.  I am not sure where the rule is that you have chicken salad, but have you ever been to a shower that did not have it?  Exactly.  You have to have it.

The guests were my favorite part, I got to see some friends I hadn't seen in a while. In person.  I blog stalk plenty, but finally getting to see someone in person is a treasure.  Especially because she drove four hours just to come  and brought enough stuff to outfit twins!
Which Heather loved opening.  ... opposite feeling of having me say, "Cheese!" for the 20th time in an hour.  Deep down I know she really likes having her picture made.
But only if it's by him-because he's awesome like that.
Love Anna

I had a blast at the shower. It was great seeing everyone again. Your chicken salad was very yummy and your cupcakes were totally cute! Hopefully it won't be as long again before we all see eachother! Until then, I'll keep blog stalking you!!!
