Ten Weeks-ish (the shirt now goes up to my bellybutton)
One of the comments I've heard the most after I told people Jeff and I were expecting was, "Ha, I was thinking you'd been running a lot lately, but it didn't look like it was doing you any good!" Which was why I felt prompted to start telling people we were expecting. Not that I was offended, but if it was getting that obvious, I wanted to blame something besides the Cinnabon's. I've been there more than once lately. Jeff and I originally thought it would be fun to keep it quiet until we knew what we were having (I mean, we know it's a baby but what KIND), but when I got that comment more than three times, and Jeff said I was really starting to show... we figured we might as well announce it. And I am glad we did, it's made me feel so warm and fuzzy to hear everyone be so excited for us. It's really meant a lot, and a huge thanks to everyone who has given me a hug, a congrats, or a huge smile. Totally has made my day.

The best part of being pregnant is that I haven't been feeling a lot of the normal pregnancy signs, aside from the good ones like bigger boobs and no monthly visits. I never got sick, I didn't have to find a bathroom significantly more often than normal, and aside from always being tired, that was it. But if you know me, I am still stupid and never go to bed at a decent hour and am always up early. That might contribute to the tired factor. There were a few weeks I would start feeling sick, but I'd immediately eat something and the feeling would go away. I did keep waiting for the moment I would have to vomit in public, but thankfully it never happened. I can't tell you how guilty I feel when people have asked, "How have you been feeling!?" And I can answer, "Great, thanks for asking!" I'm sorry-I can't help it! I'll try to have a hard labor or something...

Oh congrats again!!! This really is super exciting! We are so happy for you and it's great that you have been feeling so good!
umm the boobs will only get bigger once its here.. and that HURTS and once its big enough to sit comfortably on your bladder, you WILL be rushing to the bathroom frantically only to pee a little trickle. and Jeff, Christopher says enjoy those voluptuous breasts now because soon they will be for utility purposes only... ; )
and I lOVE your baby bump
Very cute, Anna. Isn't it funny how people like to see those pictures of your belly progressively growing? It's like the one time it's cute to get fat! :) Ultrasounds do make it more real. I was excited when getting one the first time. It's like Wow, there really is a baby in there! And to hear the heartbeat while looking at the image on the monitor made me get all teary-eyed. It's amazing the things our bodies can do sometimes.
No, have an easy labor too. I totally recommend it!
Congrats! That is so exciting!
