So just in case some of you don't know (*cough* Mandy *cough*), Tiffany is my sister. Tiffany Ivanovsky, from MyLitter.com... the deal saving site that she's been writing for the last couple years. If you haven't been following, here's a quick history. It started out as a family blog where she wrote the funny things her kids were saying and doing, her kids are hilarious and so were all of the stories. Tiffany also started couponing around then (the "extreme" kind), and everyone was asking her how and where she was getting these great deals. Rather than have to tell ten different people ten different times, she just starting posting the deals she was getting on her blog, and how and where to find them. Soon people were sharing her blog with her friends, and had SO many people interested in learning to coupon that she started teaching free coupon classes at least once a month, sometimes more. Tiffany started getting local media attention as well, articles here and there in the local paper, a few minutes on the evening news, and eventually landed on TLC's TV show, Extreme Couponing.
This is where it gets fun! TLC's producer's LOVED how well Tiffany interviewed, she's articulate, to the point, speaks clearly and quickly, and is easy on the eyes. They asked her to come to New York for a few days so she could be their spokesperson and promote the premiere of the show. So, last Monday she was in New York, getting her hair and make up done, being interviewed by somewhere around thirty different TV stations, hanging out with Rachelle Ray, interviewing with the TV Guide and CNN money, and having some time on the Today show. Totally jealous that I was in Houston, trying not to have a baby so she wouldn't miss our little boy's birth. At least we got to go shopping for outfits before she left and I scored a Cinnabon. Anyway, I love Tiffany!!! I keep watching her on these shows and thinking, "My gosh, that's my sister! I KNOW HER!" I mean, it's always fun to see someone you know on TV, but it's way more fun when it's your sister, AND it's a TV show that is broadcast across the country. I've been collecting links and videos to articles about her, so I thought I'd share a few!!!
A Few News and Blog Articles (there are a few out there!)

I'm so proud of her!
Wow. I think she's amazing. And I think it's super cool that she's your sister. (And you're amazing too, in case you didn't know.)
