Hey, It's Chocolate Time!

Isn't it mandatory that kids see all the classic Disney movies? Like Mary Poppins, Alice in Wonderland, Snow White... etc.. etc..? I thought it was. It certainly would have made life easier yesterday if that was a rule. I must have explained twenty different times and ways what an Unbirthday was. "So we're celebrating her birthday early because we'll be in New York?"
"No-we're celebrating all of our unbirthdays today. It's not any one's birthday, so we're celebrating that it's not our birthdays." "Because her birthday is in a few days?" And on, and on, and on. He still didn't quite get the concept.
You see, yesterday Jessica threw an unbirthday party at her house. We got to be the guests. The little girls dressed up in their very best attire. Of course, because that's how sweet big brothers are, Noah had to help. It's not easy dressing that well! Later on it was precious-the girls tried to get their dresses off and back into their normal clothing, so they were standing in their underwear trying to help each other. It was super cute-but I didn't think I should post pictures of kids in their underwear. Just saying...
The girls looked amazing.
Jessica got all the kids a present. It's amazing what a twisted straw will do for a kid. The kids have spent all day carrying their water bottles around... just a new way to get something into their mouths, I suppose! I was hoping Tristan would outgrow this, as right now everything he gets his hands on must go directly to his mouth. Including Megan's pink water bottle like the one above. Sadly, he couldn't figure out the straw and just repeatedly whacked himself in the forehead with the water bottle. After some games, and presents (you should see Tristan's bunny slippers...oh..em...gee), and pizza, we ate cupcakes and cake til Noah begged to get down from the table. Unlike a certain someone I know (you know who you are) I force feed children vegetables. Not dessert. Cause I am mean like that. Kate and Maile hung out like heroes. They scarfed down anything and everything they wanted. When we brought the chocolate cake out, Noah had already taken off. Maile was worried he wouldn't get any-so she kept yelling at him to come get some cake. Like a typical boy, he ignored her even though he was literally ten feet away. Kate got UP from her chair, ran over, got right next to him and kept saying, "Hey... hey... heeey... it's chocolate time!" ... and like a man, he completely ignored her. It was still pretty darn cute. What isn't cute is the chapstick Maile drew with all over Jessica's new walls. I hope magic eraser is as magic as they claim... because I want to be able to come back again for another fun party!!!
Love Anna
