True story. I went to BYU-Hawaii forever ago. Like, forever ago before I met Jeff. My first week in Hawaii was a lot of fun. I met my friend Jenni the first day there, and we spent every day enjoying the beach and beautiful weather. We were walking along Hukilau beach and started talking to some other girls. The waves crashed up against my ankles and suddenly I felt a HORRIFIC sting. I couldn't see what it was, and I didn't wanna act like a freak, so I just quickly tried to kick whatever it was to the side. Um. Apparently that turned the jelly fish that had wrapped his tentacles to my leg into a Skip-It and my efforts only further wrapped him around me.
Meanwhile, my new friends assumed I just liked to break into dance randomly.
I finally looked down and saw the jellyfish and announced what really was going on. We didn't know what to do, but thankfully some local man did.
Out of nowhere some guy threw me onto the ground and started rubbing my leg with sand.
Then he offered to pee on me.
I declined, but thanked him anyway.
I love the hospitality of the people in Hawaii.

Oh my gosh, ill NEVER forget that! Me and amber had just Had a conversation how we virtually knew nobody on the island. That's when you started screaming ambers name and I was like, huh I thought this girl didn't know anybody... Then you did that freaky dance and I had no idea you were stung. Not gonna lie, I thought you were a little nutty at this point. When you left I asked amber how she knew you and she said she thought you were in one of her classes. That was such a classic getting to know you moment. Ha. It was only the beginning to random yacht trips with men you didn't know, that great camping maho story, and that crappy night your purse got stolen. Not to mention the countless mornings you woke us up at the butt crack of dawn to watch the sunrise. Bah, I was not in the best of moods at that time of day and I think you realized that cause you would quickly move past the window above my bed to the one above ambers. Hahaha! Oh man I love you and all those adventures. You made Hawaii SO much more exciting,!
