Cinco De Last Weeko

Last week was Cinco De Mayo.  Which, I explained last year, was the holiday celebrating the love of condiments.  Or, for Jeff and I, the anniversary of when he finally freaking proposed. Either way, it's been three years since I started caring about that day!  Three whole years.  Where does the time go??

When we got engaged in 2007, we were living in Idaho, enjoying our roommates and going to school.  The second year we had just moved to Montana and I was regretting leaving all my winter clothes in storage.  The last two years we've been in Texas, enjoying the heat and Chic Fil A being within ten miles of us.  It's crazy to think where the time goes.
As the sun slowly set we talked about the future, the past, what kind of snakes were probably swimming in the water, and whether or not there alligators in Grand Lake at Camp Strake. Which, there are.  I've seen them.  Shoot, I've let Scouts swim next to them.  But, what was important is that no one drowned or was eaten.  We decided that we'll have to settle this once and for all by going out there and fishing some night.
Love Anna
