Last night one of my worst nightmares almost happened. I've heard of people's Sugar Glider's claws getting too long and getting caught on something so bad they either rip the nail out or chew their finger off. Well, last night Stunk got her claw stuck on her sleeping bag. It was pretty scary-Jeff pulled the bag out and I had to cut some of the fabric away. Thankfully her paw is alright. Needless to say, I felt like a horrible squirrel guardian and spent an hour this morning attempting to trim sixteen little paws. That's eighty nails. On something smaller than my hand. It's very nerve wracking and one of the few non-physical activities that will actually make me sweat with nervousness that I'll screw up and cut a foot off. Normally we just put their nail trimmer in their Wodent Wheel and let that do the work, but they've destroyed their wheel and we're waiting on a new one.
So, how'd you spend your morning?
