There is no escaping the inevitable-and this week that is stretch marks. I saw them this morning... they're not horrible, but they're there. I was really hoping I'd have my Mom's stretchy skin and not get one, but apparently I get the Davis genes-the ones that give you stretch marks and make you almost go crazy when people smack their gum. 
But hey, Monday's aren't all bad. Last night we picked my Mom up from the airport at 10:30pm. We let her get some rest, and by 11am this morning had her helping Tiffany move, cleaning, and then giving her a last minute phone call to come and take some pictures of Jeff and I. 
I realized this afternoon today was the only day he could take pictures, so we rushed out to the park, and with about half an hour of daylight to spare, snapped some pictures.

I'm kicking myself for not remembering to bring the baby cowboy boots I bought the other day. Dang it!
But aside from all that, she got some great photos... I think the baby likes his picture taken-he would not stop moving almost the entire time. Jeff got a kick (literally) out of it.
And I can always have her take some more later. She's a good sport like that. I was just really bummed that I didn't have any belly shots/maternity shots. I kept thinking all through December and January that I'd do them later, and then I realized that later was last week and I probably shouldn't wait any longer! Thank you, Mom, for being such a sport! I love these pictures!!!

I love these photos! Stretch marks aren't so bad... as long as you aren't in a teeny weeny polka dot bikini :) I'm so glad your Mom is back for the bby!!!

No worries about the stretch marks, I got one a couple weeks back! It's pretty small, but ugly and purple! ug.

I prefer to think of my stretch marks as badges of honor. You are a mother now, and you have the battle wounds to prove it!! Besides, you'll probably have your baby and then find that you had a whole bunch UNDERNEATH your belly where you just can't see them right now--I did.

I LOVE these pics!!! And I think the last seconds of daylight are working in your favor. I love the coloring and lighting in all of the photos. and yes. Jeff is a good sport. One day, maybe he'll be glad... or not. ; )

Those stretch marks fade with time and aren't nearly as noticeable. The pictures are awesome and we are seriously out of the loop - where did Tiffany move to? What are they doing with their house?
Geez get a room already. Also, use lots of moisturizer and Visibly Fit from Mary Kay, that will help with keeping the skin moist so the stretch marks won't do a lot of damage to your skin. Moist skin is stretchy skin.
