The best political news I've heard in a year! Scott Brown and his truck won the senate seat, and he's from Massachusetts! They haven't voted a Republican in since 1972!!! I can't tell you how fabulous it was listening to his victory speech, but the icing on the cake was reading this on Yahoo's front page:
"In an epic upset in liberal Massachusetts, Republican Scott Brown rode
a wave of voter anger to win the U.S. Senate seat held by the late Edward M.
Kennedy for nearly half a century, leaving President Barack Obama's health care overhaul in doubt and marring the end of his first year in office."
Seriously, I could have cried tears of joy but I was clapping and cheering too much. I loved it when he said, "You can criticize me and my ideas, but when you criticize my truck that's where I draw the line!" It feels good to know that someone is listening, that someone understands, and that someone loves his truck as much as we love ours-hopefully Brown is in that truck on his way to Washington tonight! So, just in case you missed what the fuss is about, here's some YouTube for ya!
And a little more...
