Forty Weeks

Forty weeks is just about here, depending on which due date you pick. My original one was March 28, but after measuring small in the last ultra sound and a couple appointments it got pushed back to April 1. When I went in on Monday my doctor was confident the next time he saw me it would be in the delivery room. I am not too worried yet, I know I can't be pregnant forever! And, if he had come already I couldn't have had Princess take my pictures in the blue bonnets! I love the pictures she took, I posted most of them on my Facebook already, but here is a couple for fun (check her blog here). Do you love how I have posted like a thousand photos of myself lately?
The good news is that he is completely and totally head down and is interested in making a debut sometime this year, although it's been nice to have a little extra time to get things done. However, I've developed PUPPS in the last couple weeks, and I am READY to be done with that. Basically, it's a rash you get only pregnant, and the best guess for cause is that you are allergic to your baby's DNA. So, I have hives over pretty much my entire body and I itch so much I've woken up almost every hour every night feeling like I am going to go crazy scratching. Not going to lie, I think you can see it in my face in most every picture that I am tired and swollen. Not that that is going to go away when the baby comes, but at least I'll have something to show. So keep your fingers crossed he comes soon so this rash goes away-make a guess on the poll to the right!

Love Anna

Cute, cute pictures and I love the name you have chosen! Hopefully Tristan does make his big debut soon. I am so anxious to meet the little guy...via internet of course!

I had PUPPS for three days when I was pregnant with Caleb. It was a miserable 3 days, and I remember complaining that I was like Job in the Bible. I couldn't sleep at night, I took baking soda baths to help the itching, and then I went to school and taught all day! Most of the time I just gave in and scratched, then dealt with the burning sensation which I thought was better than the itching. Then magically, it went away. Thank goodness!
