It's a Monopoly at the Tew's

We were shopping through Target not too long ago when Jeff and I realized we didn't have any games at our house besides my old deck of CareBear cards. So we agreed to buy Monopoly as our first board game. It has been exciting.
Growing up Monopoly used to be very vicious at our household, and we played by our own set of rules. Calvinmonopoly, if you will. For example, rolling three doubles didn't mean you went to jail, you just got extra turns. And when you landed on chance or community chest and had to pay a fine it went into a pot in the middle of the board and whoever landed on Free Parking won the money. One person was the banker and one person was the realtor, never the same because we never trusted each other (that, and kids can't count money and find deeds fast enough). We fought over who got what piece and then eventually went to using our own personal pieces, when we owed someone money we usually grumbled and threw it at them. Sometimes there were tears, usually Mom had to break up a fight but it was always fun. When I told Jeff about our games of monopoly and all he said was "Sounds like the Davis'."
So what happened next surprised me.
I thought we'd have a civilized game of monopoly. It was our first time playing together and Jeff seems like a quiet, civil guy. Until he starts losing to his wife, apparently. It was a like what happens when Grandma holds another baby and Sierra catches her. This kid seriously got all bent out of shape. And it wasn't just the first game, it was like that at the third game too. The second game he got ahead and then he was as giddy as a school girl. But for the most part, I had to keep telling him that if he was going to be this grumpy that he wasn't going to be allowed to play monopoly anymore.
At the end of the third game when I was winning I tried to take a picture and he wouldn't let me. This is Jeff as he tries to hide the fact that I won.
Again.
